Cookie information

The amplituda.hr website uses web cookies and similar technologies to ensure the website functions correctly, remember certain user preferences and, with your consent, enable additional functionality and statistical analysis.

This page explains what cookies are, the types of cookies we may use, why we use them and how you can manage your preferences.

The use of cookies may also involve the processing of personal data. More information about how Amplituda d.o.o. processes and protects personal data is available in our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that a website may store on your computer, smartphone, tablet or other device when you visit it.

Cookies allow a website to remember information about your visit or selected preferences for a certain period of time. For example, they may remember your privacy preferences, selected language or other settings.

Cookies may contain or be associated with various technical information, including unique identifiers, IP addresses, browser information, pages visited and the time of a visit. Depending on the circumstances, some of this information may constitute personal data.

First-party and third-party cookies

Depending on who sets them, cookies can be divided into:

First-party cookies
These are set by amplituda.hr and are generally used for the basic operation of the website or to remember your preferences.

Third-party cookies
These may be set by external services integrated into our website, for example services used for analytics, maps, multimedia content or other external functionality.

Where an external service is not necessary for the operation of the website and requires access to information stored on your device, it will only be activated after you provide consent for the relevant category.

What types of cookies do we use?

We group cookies and similar technologies according to their purpose.

Necessary cookies

Necessary cookies are required for the basic and secure operation of the website.

They may be used, for example, for:

  • displaying and navigating the website
  • security functions
  • correct server operation
  • remembering your cookie consent preferences
  • other functions without which the website or a service you have explicitly requested could not operate correctly.

Consent is not required for necessary cookies where they are required to provide a service explicitly requested by the user.

Functional and preference cookies

These cookies allow the website to remember certain choices and provide additional functionality.

They may remember, for example:

  • selected language
  • user preferences
  • how particular website elements are displayed
  • other functional preferences.

Where these cookies are not necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested, we use them only in accordance with the choices you make through our consent management system.

Statistics cookies

Statistics or analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website.

They may collect information such as:

  • number of visits
  • pages visited
  • duration of visits
  • approximate source of a visit
  • technical information about the device and browser
  • how visitors interact with particular parts of the website.

We use this information to analyse website usage and improve its content, structure, functionality and user experience.

Non-essential statistics cookies are used only after you have given your consent.

Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies and similar technologies may be used to measure advertising effectiveness, associate visits with marketing campaigns or provide more relevant content and advertising.

Such technologies may enable users to be recognised or followed across different websites or services.

Where they are used, marketing cookies are activated only after you have provided your prior consent.

External services and embedded content

Certain pages may contain functionality provided by external service providers, for example:

  • interactive maps
  • analytics tools
  • video or other multimedia content
  • security mechanisms designed to prevent unwanted automated requests
  • other content embedded from external platforms.

These services may use cookies or other technologies to access information on your device.

Where your consent is required for a particular external service, the relevant content or functionality will not be activated before the appropriate consent has been provided.

Google services

Certain parts of the website may use Google services, for example for website analytics, displaying maps or providing other functionality.

Depending on the particular service and your consent preferences, Google may process technical information such as your IP address, device or browser identifiers, information about your use of the website and other information required to provide the relevant service.

Google services that are not strictly necessary are not activated before you provide consent for the corresponding purpose.
